01Product Overview

Engineered for hostile
downhole environments.

The PILS-X is a high-strength pipe-conveyance imaging logging system designed for extended-reach and horizontal wells where conventional wireline logging is not advisable or feasible. With a minimum tool-string compression strength of 500 kg, it operates safely in hostile downhole conditions with well-control risk, well pressure up to 172 MPa and temperature up to 185°C.

The O.D. of 3.78 in. [96 mm] and tensile / compressive strength up to 20 t make PILS-X suitable for highly deviated and horizontal sections. Two operation modes — SRO (surface readout) with wireline and battery-powered memory — provide measurement quality comparable to conventional tools, with a fishable radioactive-source design that mitigates lost-in-hole risk.
